Telling my story is never easy for me, believe it or not I’m an extreme introvert! I think a lot! I’ve been in the design, technical and business market since I was in my 20s, nearly 40 years ago! Ooopss, telling my age right?! Things are so different today from when I first started my career. It’s a tougher market these days, so many things business owners have to keep track of and we’re always learning. Technology changes every day.
I started out learning to be a Word Processor in the early 80s, high school is where I learned to type and that skill served me well for many years. However, my career began to take different turns which led me first to computer networking and fixing software problems for co-workers in several corporate jobs. I love computers, but I still had this strong desire to create and so I started studying graphic design. I am self-taught, took many classes and studied years before I opened my business in 1999. At that time, I worked for several clients producing marketing materials for them. I’ve worked in different industries such: administrative and creative services, sales and marketing and even non-profit.
About 2008 was when my career took another turn into web design. With this skill, I had my love of computers and designing together and I’ve been with this ever since. Along the way, I’ve learned a lot as an entrepreneur and business owner.
